Anyone point me to any howtos or documents on running Linux from the Windows Vista bootloader..?

I do have a program called EasyBCD which will let me edit said bootloader - I'm at a loss as to where to put the GRUB bootloader so Vista will find it...

Why not go the other way round, Let GRUB find your Vista. Install Vista first and then install Linux

This is somehting which works all versions of windows (I have not tried Vista though)

I've tried that and it didn't seem to work - It's OpenSuse 10.2 if that's relevant.

Install GRUB on the MBR Be careful with that for Open Suse.Because Open SUSE by default installs GRUB on the root partition.

:) So for eg if I install on hda1 then I need to put GRUB on hda1 rather than hda?
